Our Children’s Home situated in Ross-On-Wye, Herefordshire is seeking a permanent full-time Team leader to join their team.
Grosvenor House is registered to accommodate a maximum of 5 young people age 14 - 19 years with mild spectrum learning difficulties associated with complex learning needs and challenging behaviours.
Grosvenor House Children's Home which we believe is a very special home for children and young people where daily living experiences and activities are meaningful and memorable and are designed to meet the needs of individual children in areas that are personal to them.
Grosvenor house is one of six homes that feed into the priory Queenswood School.
As a team leader you will work under the direction of the Registered House Manager, you will effectively lead the team of support workers and enable the delivery of care and education to all the students and young people.
You will effectively guide and manage the team and ensure that the service complies with local procedures and corporate policy, statutory regulations and quality standards.

Shift leading skills and organisation, ensuring staff team are working cohesively and shifts are running as planned to meet young people's needs
Effective multi-agency working
Robust understanding of Safeguarding and child protection
Financial viability and handling of site funds
NVQ / Diploma L3 Health & Social Care / Children's Residential home is essential
A family is 24 / 7 and so are we. We use a rota system to ensure the young people in our home get the care they need. As a Team leader, in our Home you can you should be happy to work a shift rota system that includes working some weekends and bank holidays.
