Active Care Group is the UK's leading national provider of complex care, are currently looking for an Training Co-ordinator to join our expanding team and will work across the group to help meet training deadlines for sites, developments and extensions.

A Training Coordinator is responsible for supporting the L&D Compliance Manager to ensure a safe level of training compliance for all new and existing employees is maintained.

Working with service / site leads is integral to the role to help plan and support the training needs required.

Some key duties

  • Supporting key services / sites in updating and maintaining their training matrix.
  • Work with service / site leaders to ensure their team has access to training that meets the needs of the service.
  • Ensure new starters and existing employees are assigned e-learning and booked onto training to maintain their compliance levels.
  • Arrange to meet with service / sites on a regular basis and set review periods.
  • Support services / sites that are below 85% in compliance and work with them to develop an improvement plan.
  • Feedback improvement plans to the L&D Compliance Manager on a regular basis.
  • Book training to take place at a variety of training venues; offices, training rooms or at service / site.
  • Use the LMS system to; help support service / site managers with training data; use data to assist with compliance improvement plans and reporting purposes.
  • Supporting other services within the group with all admin needs relating to maintaining training compliance of staff.
  • Reporting on compliance for training across various services.
  • Attend and contribute to Team Meetings as required.
  • Maintain own knowledge and competence by undertaking appropriate continuing professional development.
  • Tasks and projects as determined by the Compliance Manager.
