We are currently looking to recruit a Mechanical / Structures Engineering Lead to join the Joint Design Oﬃce (JDO). JDO has been created to reinforce the HPC site-based engineering to quickly respond to engineering queries and problems coming from site construction, to deliver the schedule and to deliver an increased scope of work.
A primary beneﬁt of this organisation is to save time for construction on site by having reactive answers and solutions to pursue their activities.
If successful you will be reporting to the Review & Acceptance Discipline Lead within the JDO, the post-holder will be an Engineering Lead for the Pools / Tanks / Liners / Steelworks scope.
This scope covers mainly the manufacturing and the construction on site of the reactor containment liner, the reactor pool and the spent fuel pool, the different large tanks (ASG, RRI, RBS, KER, TER, etc.
and the steelworks installed across all buildings.
As a Mechanical / Structures Engineering Lead you will be interfaced with several parties, such as site Contractors (composed of main suppliers and sub-suppliers), Construction teams, Quality teams, Project Management teams, Welding / Metallurgist Experts, or Design teams (embedded within the JDO organisation on site, or in back office).
