Why this role matters

The role holder is responsible for leading the Connect Intelligence Infovista product portfolio. This is a critical role which provides service to major multinationals and the products are some of the first to launch as virtual services under the Dynamic Network Services programme.

The role involves managing our vendor partner Infovista - to provide customers with applications management services that run over the top of our Connect network product portfolio.

The role holder will drive the product strategy & development, operational deployment, marketing, commercial approach and partnering strategy.

What you'll be doing

  • Understand the applications performance market and maintain BTs position as the leading SP in that market for Connect Intelligence Infovista
  • Responsible for all aspects of Connect Intelligence Infovista across all LOBs UK & Global
  • Own product pricing & strategy, BCM production and support for key bids
  • Own relevant business cases and PIRs
  • Own deployment of a robust operational model working with GCS, Operations and technical / applications specialists which delivers a positive customer experience
  • Own with Marketing the go to market plan
  • Ensure the products are used to differentiate BT in the market
  • Own revenue & TOV targets for the products
  • Own critical product developments and launch plans around Network Function Virtualisation (NFV) & As a Service (aaS) models
  • Present product roadmap and key feature to Mus, sales specialist and customers
  • We'll also need to see these on your CV

  • Educated to degree level (Business or Marketing preferred)
  • Must have excellent product management skills
  • Must have in-depth knowledge of the of applications performance management market, Gartner MQs and trends
  • Must have in depth knowledge of other competitor developments in this space
  • Must have well developed leadership & influencing skills
  • Must have good working knowledge of Connect portfolio
  • Must have strong financial analytical skills
  • Demonstrable communication, interpersonal and relationship management skills to GM / VP level
  • Demonstrable negotiation with 3rd party vendors and maintaining supplier relationships, plus working with Procurement
  • Track record of commercial and / or technical delivery and achievement
  • Able to deliver to tight times scales, to innovate and 'think outside the box' to deliver products and solutions that meet customers stated requirements.
