As our global footprint continues to grow, we are looking for a Software Test Engineer to join our base platform team who have been tasked with building a connecting platform to support various product lines across UL globally.

What you’ll learn & achieve :

  • Use prescribed guidelines to create both manual and automated test cases to detect defects in our software.
  • Execute manual and automated testing plans, ensuring that objectives are met and that the solution works as expected.
  • Plan automation testing in collaboration with QA, developers & product team
  • Conduct independent hands-on requirements based software testing, including writing test specifications and cases, identifying and entering defects into a tracking system.
  • Support software implementation and enhancement projects.
  • Provide support to software support teams in diagnosing and resolving issues.
  • Understand and comply with applicable regulations and all company processes as outlined in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Access to Pluralsight and various other training resources (eg : UL University) to continue your personal development
  • What makes you a great fit :

  • You'll have some great experience in Manual, Automated and Database Testing on Web-based application and Client / Server based applications
  • Good background in software development / testing environment using C# and xUnit
  • Ability in talking to developers on a technical level about unit testing, integration API and automated user journey tests
  • Ability to work in an organised, methodical manner and multi-task
  • Efficient team collaboration using good verbal and written communication
  • Keen interest in growing as a professional tester
