The primary focus of the role will be to Improve the Customer Experience while optimizing site quality through leadership of Production, Service and Customer Quality activities.

As a member of the site leadership team and of the global quality organization, this position will be accountable for all aspects of the site’s quality programs and for driving sustained improvements in these programs.
This role has both a daily operations focus and is pivotal in setting quality strategies / plans for the site. In the daily operations aspects of this role, the Site Quality Leader will assure safe and effective operation of the site’s Quality Control laboratories including : hazard reduction, cost control, productivity and employee development.
They will develop cadences to assure compliance with ISO and other business-required quality standards at the site. Strategically, this position will align with the global quality organization to deeply understand Momentive’s strategic Focus on the Customer program.
The Site Quality Leader will effectively translate the Global Quality Strategy into an executable action plan for the site with the ultimate goal of achieving a customer centric quality program, mindset and culture.
The Site Quality Leader will also act as the primary interface with external inquiries or visits related to service and quality.
Work with businesses, technology, supply chain, site leadership, direct staff, global quality and continuous improvement to develop and execute plans to reduce customer complaints, implement thorough and timely root cause and corrective actions to prevent future defects, and improve the overall quality of the processes and products within their assigned site.
Lead, coach and mentor direct staff. Management of QC contractors where applicable.
