Job Description :
The Associate will play an integral role and be in charge of portfolio attribution reporting and client reporting automation projects within the EMEA Client Reporting team, supporting the firm’s fixed income portfolio management teams.
The Associate will collaborate with portfolio management, client service, marketing, RFP and legal teams and will be involved in a variety of strategic client reporting and marketing initiatives with the ability to gain meaningful exposure to projects across the asset class spectrum.
Primary Responsibilities :
Work with investment teams and client reporting colleagues to develop, improve, automate (using Python) and maintain client attribution and client reporting templates
Respond to ad hoc, RFP and client specific requests regarding portfolio attribution and client reporting
Investigate and solve data issues with vendors and internal teams to ensure optimal quality of reporting and data
Partner with technology teams to drive enhancements, troubleshoot coding issues, and create backup systems for automated templates
Assist the wider team in the automation of client reporting templates and organization of data
Bachelor's / Master’s Degree in Science, Math, or Finance preferred
4+ years post-graduate experience in asset management preferred
Proficiency and experience in programming required : VBA, SQL and Python
Experience with Python and automation (preferably with client reporting / attribution)
Knowledge of financial markets, preferably fixed income, and interest in investment strategies and security analysis
Analytical and comfortable working with and interpreting statistics and fixed income market data
Additional qualifications, currently studying or a desire to obtain IMC, CFA (or equivalent) is preferred
Ability to communicate effectively with subject matter experts, mainly investment, sales and legal teams
Highly motivated team-player with a desire to work on a wide range of projects, collaborative and entrepreneurial spirit
Accountable with excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize work within a dynamic, deadline-driven environment
