We have an exciting opportunity available within the Adults' Health & Care Reablement Service for an Administrative Officer.

Hampshire operates a county wide Reablement Service comprising Occupational Therapy, Sensory Services and CQC Registered Community Response Staff.

This role is varied, challenging and rewarding with huge potential for positive impact on staff, service users and stakeholders.

Previous excellent administrative skills are essential. You will be required to lead by example, demonstrating the highest standard of customer service and dedication to the role.

You will provide a support service to front-line staff and managers, including performing Personal Assistant duties, as well as working within a team of Administrative officers.

You'll possess excellent IT skills across a variety of packages, RSA II or equivalent, and you'll be expected to manage a busy workload demonstrating your excellent organisation and prioritising skills.

Job Purpose :

The overall purpose of the role is to provide administrative support to the Adults’ Health and Care Reablement team by :

  • Reviewing, developing and maintaining systems that allow for accurate reporting of the work of the team.
  • Providing effective and efficient administrative support to the team.
  • Working with other teams across the department, partner organisations, regulators and providers of Adult Social Care to support the delivery of high quality services
  • Role Responsibilities :

  • Supervision and line management of Business Support staff
  • Development of the role across disciplines
  • Ensuring processes and procedures for the business function are fit for purpose
  • SharePoint Owner
  • CM 2000 Reporting
  • Minute taking
  • Organisation of meetings
  • Role Requirements :

  • Formal qualification (beyond GCSE) and competence in specialist functions as appropriate
  • Previous experience delivering a wide range of administrative functions
  • Computer literacy with experience of using a variety of software for data management and transmission
  • Demonstrable competence or aptitude to manage and supervise others and support and develop staff
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels in the organisation and with external contacts
  • Customer Service experience / skills
  • Experience of working with confidential / sensitive information
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities
  • Good organisation and time management skills.
  • Experience at minute-taking by way of written notes or laptop
  • Ability to meet the travel requirements of the role.
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to participate fully in any training required for the role
  • Working Conditions :

  • Manual handling of objects up to 5kg, more than once a day
