Viva Wallet is looking for an exceptionally talented, bright and driven entry level HR director to plan, direct, and manage all human resource initiatives of our new sales channel initiative, consisting of an Outbound Contact Centre and a Field Sales team.

The remit includes recruitment, training, compensation, benefits, and employee relations as well as Health and Safety. The incumbent will be in charge of hiring, training, coaching, salary and benefits (including payroll), team building, and leadership.

The role reports to the Country Director.

As a member of the Management Team in Viva Wallet, you will be both a strategic and hands-on partner that provides full cycle Human Resources support.

The position is critical in meeting our business plan targets and you will have the opportunity to create the Human Resources Capital Management strategy and the implementation plan that best aligns with the business goals.

More specifically, as a Human Resources Director, you will :

  • Drive organisational performance by promoting core HR and Business objectives;
  • Development and review of all HR policies;
  • Development and management of Health and Safety policies and procedures;
  • Line management for the HR team;
  • Produce monthly HR MI for senior management;
  • Produce monthly payroll;
  • Monitor the continuous improvement of HR systems and practices;
  • Work on progression and career development tools;
  • Ensure all employment related advice is in line with HR and ER regulations;
  • Ensure that all HR services are delivered in line with the department SLA’s;
  • Provide comprehensive and detailed HR advice to all levels of management with the ability to influence at a high level;
  • Work and advise line managers on performance management and development of their teams;
  • Supporting management on the annual appraisal process;
  • Management of reward strategy including compensation and benefits and performance bonus system;
  • Manage staff relationships, respond to queries and manage expectations;
  • Responsible for all employee relations case, including disciplinary, grievances and conflict management;
  • Manage employee satisfaction survey;
  • Be responsible for talent management and resourcing;
  • Develop the HR related agents and managers induction training material and manage such training
  • Develop and implement employee engagement strategy and practices
  • Manage absence management and influence attrition;
  • Be accountable for managing change projects, including TUPE, restructuring and redundancy;
  • Requirements

    To be considered you should have :

  • 5 years experience working within a HR Management position, entry level HR director experience will be a plus;
  • CIPD qualified, educated to a degree level;
  • Solid understanding of current Employment Law and associated risk;
  • HR experience within a Contact Centre / BPO industry / Field sales company, experience in a a payment services company will be a plus;
  • A strong background in dealing with employee relations, absence management and attrition;
  • Organizational skills with demonstrated business knowledge
  • Ability to demonstrate diplomacy, impartiality and professionalism at all times;
  • Ability to handle information / data with strict confidence and sensitivity;
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy of information and language;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills;
  • Good budgeting skills;
  • Excellent computer skills including Excel, Word and HR systems;
  • Must be able to adapt to a fast-changing environment;
  • Business focus and willingness to apply business knowledge to decisions;
  • Positive attitude and enthusiasm towards work, colleagues and professional development;
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with limited support;
  • Resilience and confidence to challenge at a senior level;

    What’s on offer

    Salary : £60,000 per year

    Holidays : 30 days

    Pension : scheme : 5% employer matched

    Hours : 9 am 5 pm Monday Friday

    Location; Milton Keynes (some travel will be required as field sales teams cover the whole of the UK)
