Job details

Our client is looking for a Sous Chef who has a passion and love for food and to work in a kitchen team of 4.

The 90 seat restaurant uses all fresh local produce, working 5 days out of 7, straight shifts.

DBS check is required

  • Work closely with the Head Chef and cover their days off.
  • Motivate and train the Junior Chefs.
  • Maintain high standard of health and hygiene in the kitchen.
  • Work well within the team and share your ideas.
  • Ensure stock levels are efficient for the restaurant and all preparation have been completed in time for the day’s service.
  • Manage the kitchen cleanliness.
  • Pay attention to detail at all times.
  • To work closely with the Head Chef to create menu’s, costing and ordering of produce.
  • Excellent organising and communication skills.
  • Be able to prepare quality dishes with only the finest locally sourced produce.
  • Be able to maintain a high and professional service.
  • Adhere to strict hygiene control throughout the kitchen.
