Reporting to the Telecom Sales Director and based in Dublin, Ireland the key accountabilities of this role are :

  • Work with existing and new Irish customers to identify areas to develop and grow sales of Prysmian range of connectivity and optical cable system products.
  • Work with connectivity and optical cable engineering teams to develop new products to realise commercial opportunities.
  • Co-ordinate commercial / engineering responses to customer enquiries.
  • Manage and lead the preparation of major tenders ensuring that the commercial and price procedures are followed as per the Commercial Director instruction.
  • Provide support for commercial and technical related issues; Assist with the development of marketing and engineering plans / literature.
  • Prepare and submit monthly sales forecasts. Prepare and submit sales plans and budgets to assist with the development of the Management Plan and Strategic Planning process.
  • Qualifications and Experience

    Educated to degree level or equivalent you will have technical or sales experience in a related market.

    You are a creative and innovative thinker with a technical background to formulate and implement dynamic sales strategies and make key business decisions.

    You have excellent and highly persuasive inter-personal skills; excellent communication and presentation skills and strong organisational ability.

    You have the ability to build influential, long lasting business relationships an are a self-motivated team player.

    Location and Travel

    You will be home-based in Dublin, Ireland. The role will require travel throughout Ireland and occasionally to our other locations including our offices near Eastleigh, Hampshire, SO50 6YU.
