The opportunity

Project : The nature of our work is focussed around office transformation and estate rationalisation programmes for a range of clients within the public sector, including central government departments and local government authorities.

A typical appointment could be a commission in the role of programme, project or multi-disciplinary services associated with a property rationalisation and office transformation programme in response to business reorganisation / restructuring.

In the current economic climate, the developed programmes assist our clients with meeting reduction targets for operating costs as well as sustainability.

Other projects include the development of new civic office building and multi-use hubs or the provision of a general consultancy service for a range of improvement programmes.

Our service offer is extensive from single workstream advice to full multi-service provision. Our working boundaries are the south-east of England, although we also provide in-depth support to the regions.

The role will ensure effective common data environment (collaborative information) is in place to contribute to improved information management

To grow the maturity / capacity of the document control function within the organisation and to ensure effective and secured document management processes and procedures are in place and followed for information management.

Your responsibilities will include :

  • Developing and implementing a document control system for the programme.
  • Developing and delivering information management policies, processes and procedures across the programme.
  • Providing communications and training to roll out the developed processes within each project.
  • Reviewing the information management function to deliver ongoing service improvement and the maintenance of quality standards.
  • Developing and managing of staff within the document control function.
  • Implementing a programmatic approach to document control.
  • Aligning the document control with other information requirement and mandatory compliance requirements.
  • Ensuring all information is exchangeable, available and useable by the relevant individuals.
  • Reviewing continuously the available common data environment (CDE) to ensure that the most appropriate and suitable system is in use across the programme.
  • Establishing information management processes and approach for use by the supply chain.
  • Providing, supporting and enhancing a common data environment for use by the supply chain.
  • Linking to the BIM agenda and ensuring alignment of the common data environment to other information requirements.
