Role summary : You (The Senior Content Producer, B2B), will plan, brief, edit and distribute compelling brand content, designed to inspire IT security decision-
makers in businesses. Our global audiences range from start-ups to international enterprises, and we talk with both technical IT specialists and wider C-
suite audiences. You will sit within an international virtual team, combining the skills of content strategy and production editor.
You will be responsible for commissioning a range of inspiring content, working with agencies and freelance producers. Formats will be predominantly web and social media, with a focus on interactive and rich media formats.
What will you be doing :
Story mining and story planning coming up with great creative ideas to meet identified audience needs using original and engaging formats
Work with colleagues in every continent in sales, marketing and communications roles to gather requirements and propose ideas for high quality content that meets the cultural and specific needs of their market
Managing a portfolio of creative talent across all craft disciplines : finding and nurturing new talent; briefing and managing external producers (writers, designers, videographers, creative agencies);
creating watertight briefs and giving constructive feedback at every stage
Editor-in-chief to find and commission writers in a range of business tech topics, working with internal stakeholders but taking overall creative control to ensure work is engaging and right for our audiences
Interviewing leaders and experts within the business for quotes and thought leadership pieces
Plan, budget and establish editorial processes to ensure exceptional delivery of all work you commission
QA of all final work including sub-editing, SEO and copywriting as needed
You are :
A creative thinker who can ideate and develop ideas for both bigger content series and projects, and quicker turnaround pieces that respond to business opportunities
Experienced in telling stories for leading brands with a focus on inspiring or helpful pieces using best practice content marketing techniques
Experienced in briefing and managing creatives, and building excellent relationships as a commissioning editor
An accomplished content or editorial lead with a strong portfolio of digital content for business, and a copybook with examples of digital and social media formats, including video
A strong relationship builder with demonstrable skills in positively influencing and collaborating at all levels, up to and including senior leadership, particularly with international experience
A problem-solver who can adapt and meet challenges with a positive attitude
