eDiscovery Manager - FS - Belfast

£40,000.00 - £50,000.00 Location : London Permanent

What you will do :

As a Manager, you will be responsible for multiple client engagements. You will build your career by leading on projects, managing a team to produce high quality outputs, ensuring that deadlines are met, and client requirements are satisfied.

Your responsibilities will include :

  • Advising clients on a comprehensive range of issues during forensic and regulatory investigations in relation to financial crime, corruption, information theft and other offenses
  • Planning and supervising engagement teams in carrying out both reactive and proactive data analysis of large volumes of unstructured and structured data
  • Support, train and oversee junior staff on end-to-end eDiscovery engagements, performing tasks across the whole project lifecycle including identification, collections, analysis and productions
  • Utilise pre-existing industry experience of eDiscovery software, interacting with clients and internal stakeholders directly to provide any required support in relation to the engagement
  • Closely working with clients, fraud investigators, internal and external auditors, lawyers and regulatory authorities in sensitive and sometimes adversarial situations
  • Establish, maintain and strengthen internal and external networks
  • Provide guidance and share knowledge with team members
  • Create a positive learning culture - you will develop junior team members through effective supervising, coaching, and mentoring
  • Requirements :

  • Strong academic qualifications with a degree in a STEM discipline (Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, etc.
  • or equivalent work experience

  • Expertise in collecting, processing and analysing large volumes of unstructured and structured data
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience of working with common eDiscovery and forensic software products (including NUIX and Relativity)
  • Strong understanding of various operating systems, SQL database technologies, IT environments, and networks
  • Solution-oriented and proactive approach to the delivery and implementation of projects as well as the ability to build strong relationships with your teams and clients.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English is required any additional language is considered as a plus.

  • Strong domain knowledge in any sector
  • Professional qualifications that demonstrate domain knowledge of accounting, fraud, bribery and corruption or sector specific knowledge or experience
  • Intellectually rigorous, with extremely strong analytical skills and a passion for data
  • Seeking high levels of ownership and responsibility
  • Experience working with additional scripting or other programming languages (e.g. Ruby, ECMA Script or Python)
