We are looking for a UX writer with strong expertise in crafting compelling UX copy for web and mobile. Your role will be to elevate our customer experience and take it to the next level with clarity, simplicity and delight.
You will be part of the Product Design team. This team is embedded within a multidisciplinary Product group that is focused on creating engaging UX solutions for empowering collectors to discover new artists, stay up-to-date with the artists they collect, and grow their art collection purposefully.
You’ll create copy that helps to guide customers with clarity and fluidity through the product experience. You’ll reflect the Artsy brand values with an engaging personality and an approachable tone of voice.
You will play an important part in conceptualizing, developing and executing the customer experience to grow and retain Artsy’s customer base of collectors, partners, and art lovers.
Your work will help to ensure our user experience is consistent across all communication channels. We will look to you to bring new ideas to the table, and to enthuse and engage others through excellent communication.

Key Responsibilities :
Turn complex concepts or journeys into clear, concise, compelling copy across Artsy’s products.
Develop and create UX writing with a tone and a voice that reflects the Artsy brand values and personality.
Employ a user-centered design approach, blending insights with data to inform your writing.
Collaborate closely with designers, prototypers, marketers, engineers and more to create, test and iterate compelling UX solutions.
Champion UX writing by creating best practice guidelines, clear communication, and foster UX writing sensibility across all disciplines.
Communicate with clarity your intent and rationale so as to influence stakeholders, build knowledge in the team and foster constructive criticism of your work.
Candidate Qualifications :
4+ years of experience in UX writing for brand, UX and digital products with a portfolio to match.
Fluent in the product life cycle, user experience, brand theory and practice
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical knowledge of syntax and grammar.
Experience in writing for marketplace e-commerce experiences.
Proven ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, analytical multidisciplinary environment.
Experience in testing content to improve performance and usability.
Ability to craft writing that works equally well for a global audience across different markets.
