An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced proactive sales professional to join an interesting and established company based in St Albans.

Your time will be split between winning new business and building relationships with and growing a portfolio of existing clients.

Our client provide professional translation services across a variety of market sectors and industries - you’ll be joining an office of 12, in bright, open-plan offices.

Key responsibilities :

Own and manage a set of existing accounts, developing strong relationships, growing revenue and identifying opportunities for upselling and gaining recommendations

Target, develop and grow new accounts, and ultimately target new sectors, to agreed sales targets

Generate sales leads, establish contact through cold-calling and follow up on enquiries from potential new clients and leads generated by internal marketing activities

Deliver strategic account plans to assist with meeting agreed targets

Research, identify and actively develop new sales opportunities within targeted industries

Follow up leads generated by targeted marketing campaigns

Represent the company at trade shows, events and client meetings

Work closely with the Marketing Manager to maximise returns on marketing activities

Make best use of sales tools and social media

What the employer is looking for :

At least 2 years’ in a B2B sales role, working with a service rather than products

A positive 'can-do’ attitude

Comfortable with cold-calling and generating leads

Confident in face-to-face, phone and email conversations

Naturally self-motivated and driven to succeed

Experience of planning, budgeting and forecasting

Good understanding of digital marketing strategies

Able to develop proposals and presentations

CRM systems experience

Able to communicate at all levels

Flexible and open to change

Articulate and well-presented
