Amour Recruitment are partnering with one of Wales' premier training providers in their search for a Stakeholder Engagement Manager.

This is a key strategic role, working with the Senior Management Team and reporting to the Head of Apprenticeships, and the successful candidate will develop and maximise key stakeholder relationships allowing the company to capitalise on new opportunities for the business.

The Stakeholder Engagement Manager will also build, lead and direct a motivated Employer Engagement Team to plan and accomplish goals in contract starts, employer placements and into employment targets.

Specific responsibilities :

  • Accountable for monitoring the achievement of monthly KPIs, for your team regarding performance against individual contract KPI’s.
  • Responsible for forecasting, and monitoring income against agreed budget profiles.
  • Responsible for developing new business relationships with employers and stakeholders to promote our full range of training and employability solutions.
  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining effective relationships with key employers, developing new business leads, identifying opportunities for effective promotion of all programmes
  • Responsible for building and managing a strong prospect pipeline : identifying, developing, and securing employer partnerships with substantial long-term potential.
  • Responsible for supporting employers across Wales as the first point of contact to deliver effective account management and maximise business opportunities
  • Responsible for engagement with our Marketing department to execute Marketing campaigns, contributing to Social Media activity and attending external events
  • Accountable for the on-going development of an employer engagement strategy focusing on new business development, and identifying new priority sectors and geographic areas for all areas of contracted provision.
  • Responsible for keeping up to date with current employment trends, sector research and government funding trends.
  • Responsible for planning and attending relevant networking events to promote all services.
  • Accountable for engaging with SMT colleagues about overall strategic direction and lead in providing expertise regarding the development of employer engagement strategy.
  • Accountable for conducting Monthly performance review and annual appraisals
  • Responsible for providing support to team members to ensure their continued development and effectiveness, including identification of any training required.
  • Accountable for monitoring team members absences and holidays.
  • Responsible for recruitment of departmental staff.
  • Candidate Spec :

  • Demonstrable experience of working in a target focused environment
  • Experience of leading and developing a sales team
  • Proven track record in managing a successful sales team
  • Knowledge of Welsh Government contracts
  • CRM Software experience and understanding
  • Management / Team Leader qualification (Desirable)
  • Fluent in Welsh (desirable)
