We have a number of exciting opportunities to join Sheffield as Operations and Development Managers in the Housing & Neighbourhood Service managing circa 39,000 council homes and an ever-growing private rented sector market.

There are two posts available.
1. Asset Management and Programme Works Team
The Asset Management and Programme Works Team shape and deliver the housing capital investment programme and other related service initiatives.
Overall, the team manages the development of the investment programme identified through stock condition and other surveys & data sources including the requirement to meet statutory requirements, acquisition of new council housing stock, financial management and delivery of the capital programme investment contracts along with providing customer support throughout this process.
The team work closely with both internal and external partners in procuring and administering contracts in addition to working closely with the Repairs Policy Improvement and Neighbourhood Management teams to enable the best outcomes and service for both tenants and council housing stock.
The job is full time (37 hours) and is based at Moorfoot Building in Sheffield city centre, but there will also be an expectation to work remotely at home.

2. Repairs Policy and Investment Team
The Repairs Policy Improvement Team shape and deliver the housing repairs policy and service initiatives. The team work closely with the Asset Management service.
The service ensures effective performance management of the repairs service in addition to customer safety elements for council tenants in the city.
The team manage the cyclical repairs programme and capital investment initiatives. The job is full time (37 hours) and is based at Solpro Business Park, Attercliffe, Sheffield but there will also be an expectation to work remotely at home.
