Scottish BAME Writers Network is looking tohire a new co-director for their non-profit organisation. Thisposition will specifically assist with programming duties for theirremaining major events / projects in 2020 : Black History Month, theprofessional development conference, and a new pamphletpublication.
The co-director will also assist with fundingapplications, among other responsibilities.
This is primarily a remote role with some attendance atvenue-based events (after lockdown is fully eased).
Given the specific duties of this role, they will be looking forcandidates that can speak to BIPOC experiences. That said, they areparticularly looking for applicants from the Black community / African diaspora as they have designed this role to addresssystemic barriers and gaps within their own network and within thewider literary sector.
The successful candidate will be hired for 30 hours per month at arate of £15PH.
