Job Advert Are you looking for a rewarding role where you can make a real difference to the lives of people with a Learning Disability?

Thanks to the ongoing success of the current service, we are looking to expand our team of dedicated support workers in Waterlooville.

We currently support three individuals at our registered service, offering a real variety in personalities and experiences of the people we support.

We are currently offering full and part time opportunities, with shifts that will include mornings, afternoons and evenings.

The people we support need you to be understanding, reliable and most importantly caring one of Mencap’s key values. They also need you to support them in accessing new activities and new challenges within the community.

In particular, One of the people we support would like support to go the fair and going to the cinema and going on his swing could you be the push he needs?

We are seeking individuals who enjoy having fun and face painting.

As all the people we support have their own support plan, each person likes to be supported differently so again, flexibility is key.

However, all of the people we support also need you to be patient, kind and respectful three things that make up the backbone of a good relationship.

As a support worker, all you’ll need to have is a positive attitude and a desire to improve the lives of those with a learning disability.

If you support the people within our service, we will support you with award-winning training and progression opportunities throughout your career with us.
