Teacher English (Sessional / Flexible Hours)

Salary; £24.25 - £29.11 per contact hour plus holiday pay

We are committed to the delivery of a consistent and high quality learning experience for our students who make use of an extensive range of practical resources as an important part of their course.

We are looking to add to our established English team on a flexible basis in order to deliver our English curriculum.

The successful candidate will be educated to degree or A level in English, or equivalent, have a minimum of grade C in GCSE Maths and English Language (or equivalent), hold or be willing to work towards and achieve, a Diploma in Teaching and Learning (Certificate in Education) or equivalent, along with commitment to, and evidence of, CPD.

Duties of this role include lecturing and training of students and other client groups to quality standards set by the College, alongside tutoring and management of English courses and groups of students.

There will also be a requirement to develop the English curriculum for GCSE tuition.

If you possess the ability to influence, persuade and inspire others, can demonstrate an ability to lead on developing, planning, delivery and evaluation of high quality, motivational and inclusive learning experiences, and can evidence an ability to motivate students and improve student satisfaction, then we would love to hear from you!
