We are seeking a dynamic, driven and experienced Senior SEO Specialist to work with us on a full-time basis. The role can be fulfilled remotely however there must be a willingness to travel occasionally (2 times per month) to either our Glasgow or Bromborough (Merseyside) offices for strategy meetings.

Oh Polly is a rapidly growing eCommerce fashion brand, regularly ranked as one of the most engaged fashion brands on social media.

We are looking now to emulate this success in our organic search results which until now has not been a major focus for us.

As a result, you will be expected to already have the knowledge required to join the company and make immediate, measurable impacts without external guidance or additional training.

You will also have involvement in developing our fledgeling sister brand; Bo+Tee.

You will be joining a team of 3 digital marketers and working under a Digital Marketing Manager. You will also work closely with our eCommerce team who are responsible for the content and copy on-site.

You should have experience using 3rd party tools to identify opportunities and use that knowledge to create weekly and monthly action plans with targeted results.

We only recruit and retain A-team players, so you will be expected to know your stuff and be goal-orientated.

  • Interviews for this position will be conducted remotely / digitally due to the current COVID restrictions / guidelines.
  • Using 3rd party tools you will present a weekly report of Oh Polly and Bo+Tee search engine rankings and any movements.
  • You will be identifying key opportunities in terms of site content, link building search terms and using this to inform the following week's strategy.

  • You should be capable of achieving results beyond tackling just the 'low hanging fruit' therefore the expectations and targets will be adapted accordingly as your time with the company progresses.
  • You will be communicating daily with the content team to brief on keyword plugs and other content suggestions.
  • You will work to expand our backlink numbers through 3rd party sites and the commissioning of content / blog articles.
  • You will work with 3rd party platforms; for example, Pi Datametrics and their analysts to identify new opportunities in areas like SERP.
  • You will produce a monthly technical report on website issues relating to crawlability, speed, UI / UX then submit appropriate tickets with the development team.
  • You will prepare monthly project plans with milestones and timelines for all our SEO activities and be accountable for progress against those milestones.
  • Education

    You should be educated to degree or college level, in a marketing field and have a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position, experience in an e-comms fast fashion environment would be preferable.

    Experience / Skills

  • Demonstratable experience of improving an online brand's SEO ranking.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you will dealing with both marketers and developers on a regular basis.
  • Knowledge of 3rd party SEO analytic programs such as SEMRush, Screaming Frog, Pi Datametrics.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Great project management skills
