What Abbeyfield Offer You
At Abbeyfield, we are committed to rewarding our staff for their hard work. Our benefits include :
You'll already be an established and highly capable in-house or agency hands on’ recruiter, used to managing multiple end to end recruitment campaigns and on-boarding large volumes of successful hires simultaneously.
You'll have the knowledge to know how to build a strong employer brand in the local community, with the ability to tap into innovative local and national sourcing methods, and how to exploit social media.
Highly organised and methodical, you will have strong initiative and be able to prioritise your own work. You'll also be able to point to how you've assured candidate quality, whilst minimising time and cost to hire.
You'll also need well developed verbal and written communication skills, be a strong influencer, and able to build productive working relationships both internally and externally.
Experience in the health and social care sector and use of online e-recruitment (applicant tracking) systems would also be an advantage.
We are committed to providing the highest standards of care, and we believe that great care starts with great people. And because we take the wellbeing of our residents and staff very seriously, you won't be surprised that to work for us, you must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (other than in exceptional circumstances), and intend to have any further booster vaccinations that are made available.
For over 60 years, Abbeyfield has been a charity that provides housing for elderly people across the UK and internationally.
It is our mission to enhance the quality of life for our residents through excellent accommodation in a stimulating environment to help maintain a socially active life.
Abbeyfield is more than a home; it’s a neighbourhood, a community, a family. Our core behaviours are to be welcoming to everyone, celebrate the positives, work collaboratively, take responsibility, and be adaptable to changing circumstances.
Best of all, we’re a charity, meaning that the interests of our valued staff and residents sit at the heart of what we do, not shareholders
Your role at Abbeyfield
First and foremost, you'll ensure there is a sufficient pipeline of new starters, so that the care home is able to accept all new residents in line with expected revenue growth targets.
You'll also exploit all available methods of local employer brand marketing, advertising and promotion, so as to make the scheme a local employer of choice in the care sector.
You'll need to take ownership of recruitment and marketing budget spend on local and social media advertising and paid for jobs boards.
And you'll be harnessing our powerful Applicant Tracking System to ensure compliance with process, strong candidate quality, and minimum time to hire from application to start date.
If you're ready to give your career in recruitment a lift to a new level, this could be the job for you.
