ABOUT THE ROLE

In today’s rapidly evolving media landscape, it’s becoming increasingly important for us to maintain and develop deeper working relationships with our key customers and media agency partners.

Not only to ensure we maintain current levels of business, but also to grow revenue through new categories, deeper 360 partnerships and digital platform growth.

Hearst is truly innovating not only in terms of our content driven partnerships but also focusing on bridging the gap between content & data driven solutions via programmatic.

We are pushing the boundaries in terms of providing our advertisers with premium audience engagement solutions leveraging the power of both data and technology on a Global scale.

The role requires a Digitally savvy sales and marketing professional, responsible for helping drivie the success of their patch alongside their immediate team and in collaboration with wider Hearst departments.

The role will be split across Agency groups & designed to help drive commercial revenue across all Hearst platforms (both Print & Digital) and products including (but not limited to) Content Partnerships, Display, Programmatic, Social & Events.

There is a definite need for strong Digital understanding, sound knowledge of the wider UK media landscape, proven track record of delivering required sales targets and a natural ability to provide the best customer service.

You will report into an Agency Manager and work alongside an Agency Development Director and Integrated Agency Director.

ABOUT YOU

  • Excellent knowledge of Digital landscape (e.g. Social Media, Branded Content & Programmatic)
  • Successful track record of Digital & Print sales delivery
  • Experience / knowledge of working across multi-faceted campaigns
  • Be first point-of-contact to administer bookings, invoice queries and general business enquiries
  • Support with effective flat planning, liaison with Business Managers and Digital Administration team
  • Support AM in creating an agency hub strategy for Retain, Grow and Acquire clients identifying clear target lists and revenue opportunities
  • Ability to manage personal pipeline accurately and in time via Salesforce
  • Comprehensive understanding of Hearst’s portfolio and comfortable having entry level conversations with agency stakeholders on programmatic, data and commerce
  • Strong knowledge of your agencies’ and their client’s businesses with valuable contacts to grow
  • Work with your AM to develop a list of key clients that you will be responsible for the growth of, these can be a mix of new business opportunities and existing spenders
  • Ability to select appropriate products from a diverse portfolio to solve advertising objectives
  • Develop strong relationships with all other departments (particularly Connect, Digital and Client teams)
  • Support in coordinating corporate entertainment or external agency initiatives alongside the ADD, Agency Manager and where relevant Business Marketing
