Job Summary :
Responsible for the visual merchandising for the all of the boohoo sites at a category level. Supporting the Senior Product Optimisation Manager in ensuring we are representing a commercial VM strategy and maintaining the company’s visual standards across all sites.
Performing daily analysis across all categories ensuring that our product catalog is ordered in a way that showcases the best product mix in the right place, at the right time.
Working at speed and with attention to detail is a must-have in the fastpaced nature of the business.
Working closely with buying, marketing and studio teams to ensure that boohoo.com priority styles, collections, trends, promotion and campaigns go live in line with the marketing / trading plans across all territories.
Using Google analytics to understand key themes and trends within a category and promotion is required daily. You will also use numerous metrics to analyse and understand how our customers behave and engage in different markets and relate this back to the product catalogue.
Assisting the Senior Product optimisation Manager in understanding our customers search behaviour and making amendments to our search dictionary to increase conversion on sessions with search.
This role requires strong trend awareness as well as the ability to actively provide and use analysis to develop category merchandising on all sites :
Presenting the product pool in the best possible way to maximize site conversion and revenue.
Making the customer journey to locate the desired product simplistic.
Ensuring that the customer can use filtering component to narrow down their search.
Tasks, duties & responsibilities :
Responsible for product trading all of our onsite categories by ensuring the 1st pages are merchandised to meet our VM strategy.
Responsible for parts of the sites and pages, which are automatically merchandised.
Ensuring product is live on site with all key components as fast as possible
Analysing each product within a category daily ensuring that you have captured all key metrics within the manual merchandised zones.
Maintaining the Brands taxonomy to ensure all products are allocated the correct attributes to enable customer to find products easily on our website
Develop close working relationships with, studio, marketing and buying to ensure that all business priorities are met, ensure that communication between the teams is regular and productive.
Use analytics to understand improve on site search.
Is an ambassador for the brand
Attends training, meetings and other events as requested by direct manager or senior management, including Head of Human Resources.
Assists colleagues by completing tasks outside own job role when requested, including supporting associated companies.
Maintains own working area in a professional and organised manner.
