Job Description

What you’ll be doing :

We are looking for an individual to be part of our data science team and work on engagements with clients. This includes delivering solutions and working as part of a growing data science team within Capita Consult and Transform.

All applicants must be adept at interfacing with clients and understanding the commercial objectives of their work. The candidate must be able to work on their own without supervision and as part of multi-disciplined delivery teams.

Excellent communication skills are required along with an ability to communicate with both technical and business people.

Experience of consultancy and working on projects from initiation to completion would be beneficial.

What we’re looking for :

UK Residency for last 3 years to meet some client vetting requirements

Existing right to work in the UK

Willingness to travel for work

Essential Technical Skills

Python as part of Project Delivery

Theoretical and practical implementation of statistical and machine Learning

Machine Learning in Operations (MLOps)

BI Reporting (one of the following : Power BI, Cognos, Tableau, Qlik)

Cloud deployment and hosting (Azure is preferred)

Full Project Lifecycle (Requirements, Build, Test, Deploy and Document)

Essential Non-Technical Skills & Experience

Customer engagement skills

Producing solution design documentation.

Ability to question and interrogate client data to gain insight

Self-management of workloads

Pro-active attitude and team player
