Your future duties and responsibilities
As an Infrastructure Architect, you will be providing advice to CGI and our clients. You’ll need to understand our clients’ business and commercial issues, and identify, design and deliver large and complex architectures, strategies and specific solutions.
Defining a major infrastructure programme, you’ll contribute to development and governance through technical assurance processes.
You’ll take ownership of effort estimates and costs from teams, subcontractors and suppliers, along with responsibility for concerns, architectural decisions and the technical risk register.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
A consultative approach and the ability to advise clients on good practice
Demonstrable experience working at the boundary between business and technology
A broad architecture background combined with excellent knowledge of architecture
methodologies and frameworks
Knowledge of modern technical architectures and paradigms including event based
design, containerisation and microservices
Knowledge of cyber essentials, security, and cloud technologies like Azure, and AWS
All applicants must hold or be prepared to undergo National Security Vetting (NSV)
Security Check (SC) level.
