Position : Senior Manager International Marketing, Global Repertoire (New Recordings)

Your Mission at BMG.
You will be responsible for managing the marketing and promotion of
incoming international repertoire in the UK, ensuring the maximisation of commercial opportunities while providing full marketing support to the international territories as required.
What You’ll Be Doing.
Liaising with the international Global Repertoire teams to identify and support incoming releases.
Preparing, planning, and managing marketing and media strategy campaigns for incoming release flow
Co-ordinating promotional schedules
Ensuring approval of assets, as appropriate.
Working in partnership with the digital and streaming teams to ensure appropriate visibility and messaging
Managing relationships with external promotional teams to ensure delivery of marketing and promotional strategies
Managing relationships with retail distribution teams
Managing relationships with artist management and ensure kept up to date on all aspects of the marketing and promotional activity
Providing regular updates to international teams on releases and campaigns
Preparing appropriate marketing campaign budgets
Working with Finance to prepare project P&L’s
Tracking sales performance, making appropriate forecasts and adjustments to budget
Providing comprehensive information / reports on product performance against budget
Ensuring awareness of the market, music business developments, products and challenges and apply knowledge appropriately
5+ years experience working in a marketing role within the music industry
Experience with managing marketing campaigns for international releases in the UK, across a wide genre base
Specialist knowledge of the UK rock market and experience of working with artists in this genre
Digital marketing experience a plus
Knowledge of and relations with independent press and promo, artist managers and agents
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to prioritise, multi-task and manage time efficiently
Pro-active, positive attitude
Experienced and confident with presenting to peers and senior stakeholders
Team player with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels
Commercially focused and motivated
Passion for and knowledge of music, including being well versed in a variety of genres
