We are currently hiring an account director to join our quantitative research team, please read on for the details of this position.

Core Job Responsibilities

To start to own and build a small number of client relationships to generate revenue and drive business growth

  • Ongoing selling and marketing of Insight services to generate revenue and contribute to sales growth
  • To start to conduct new business development activities
  • To develop client-focused, needs-based proposals
  • To own client relationship to ensure effective communication, develop innovative solutions and external relationships with 3 6 clients
  • To actively lead client research solutions and project delivery to drive innovation and build client satisfaction

  • To proactively own and lead project delivery from initial brief to final delivery
  • To drive and manage project profitability attain guideline gross profit
  • Active leadership in client research solutions to build the Insight brand
  • Adds flair and creativity to the design, fieldwork, analysis, interpretation and writing of research projects
  • Participates in the development of new research concepts
  • To start to negotiate appropriate prices for projects
  • To complete all administrative tasks in a timely and appropriate manner
  • To coach and manage direct reports and work teams to encourage team working and support development

  • To give direction, provide support and encourage team working
  • To mentor, train and coach team members and colleagues (RAs, REs and SREs)
  • To set objectives, provide routine feedback, conduct appraisals and plan development for team members
  • To act as a role model and valued member of the Insight team to add value to Company initiatives

  • To be an active member of business initiative teams, where appropriate, and / or support BIT and management initiatives
  • Seeks opportunities to innovate, to bring new ideas / services to market
  • Actively implement and seek to develop company practices
  • Enthusiastically acts as a role model
  • Requirements

  • Excellent project management skills
  • Strong client management and communication skills
  • Good commercial acumen demonstrates proactive approach to business development
  • Strong skills in group moderating, interviewing and brainstorming
  • Good management skills with strong coaching ability
  • 6 8 years experience in research or professional services organisation, of which 5 years experience in research-based project support role, with at least 2 3 years healthcare sector experience and 3 years in project management / account management role
