What we're looking for :

We are looking for an experienced Principal Security Specialist to join our team. You will be part of a new Center of Excellence, responsible for helping the global field organization in selling and positioning Wrike solutions.

As applications and workloads move to the cloud, customer’s security concerns change. This crafts a need where customers require connectivity and deeper security for those applications and workloads from any location and any device.

In response to these needs, Citrix delivers a unified Secure Access Suite that focuses on secure browsing, file access and application delivery by providing users with a secure Workspace that utilizes a common framework for delivery and support.

This puts Citrix in the critical path for applications, regardless of how and where they are deployed and leverages the core strength of Citrix’s brand promise of delivering the most demanding applications, securely.

As such, you will be responsible for technical relationships with Sales, customers, and prospects, where you will identify and match technology capabilities with our customers’ business and security needs.

In this role, you will focus on the security aspects of our SaaS-based solutions and address customer concerns around cloud governance.

Primary Duties / Responsibilities

  • Deep understanding required of SASE technologies and methods, understanding how Citrix solutions fit within this space.
  • You will establish yourself as a trusted advisor and technical expert with both prospects and customers while working alongside the sales teams and collaborates within a given territory.
  • You will build and manage relationships with key customers in the Geos to solidify reference accounts and to assist the account teams with defining plans to drive more business.
  • Proven knowledge of technical sales techniques and processes including the ability to understand customer needs, overcome objections, assist in the development of business cases, and technically close deals.
  • Successfully establish credible relationships with other organizations including Products, Product Marketing, Customer Success and Engineering.
  • You will have excellent knowledge and proven experience selling to enterprise customers. Knowledge of enterprise network security technologies including but not limited to : HTTP and web security technologies, proxies, caches, firewalls, SSL / TLS, GRE and IPSec tunnelling, DNS, load balancing, WAN optimization technologies, VPN's, DLP, anti-virus, spam and spyware solutions (Gateway and SaaS), and detection of sophisticated threats.
  • Requires knowledge of core security and auditing frameworks used by enterprises globally.
  • You maintain a low-level understanding of auditing, legal and data sovereignty concepts and tools used by enterprises to translate requirements and formulate value added solutions for customers.
  • You will identify and detail specific problems with prospective and current customers which can be solved through the deployment of integrated Workspace and Security solutions
  • You will architect and propose validated solutions and security frameworks that address the identified cybersecurity problems in each unrivalled environment
  • You will maintain a keen awareness of the competitive landscape, market trends and security paradigms across the customer base.
  • You will work closely with Product Leadership to articulate industry trends, customer needs and product improvement areas.
  • Occasionally, supplements Product Management resources in product conversations with customers.

    Requirements (Education, Certification, Training, and Experience)

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years Pre-Sales or systems engineering experience in high tech with a record of success in driving customer adoption of technology.
  • Expertise in the following technology areas :

  • Core Networking, Routers and Switches, Load Balancing, WAN optimization, SDWAN, GRE and IPSec tunnelling
  • Web security technologies including but not limited to CASB, Access Control, Secure Web Gateway, NGFW, IDS / IPS, DLP, Malware sandboxing, Content filtering, SSL Inspection, intrusion prevention and analytics
  • Authentication technologies including 2FA, LDAP, SAML, OIDC, FIDO2 experience desirable
  • Expertise in security-focused architectural requirements across public clouds including Azure, GCP and AWS
  • 3+ years of experience in understanding SaaS solutions and designing and integrating SaaS extensions
  • Deep understanding of cybersecurity products, integrations, and critical cyber threats facing enterprise environments.
  • Solid listening skills. Can quickly digest information and respond in an accurate and concise manner. Has the ability to respond appropriately to sophisticated questions.
  • Relevant Industry Certifications Preferred : CCIE, CISSP, CCSP or equivalent.
  • Extensive account management experience, preferably with experience managing large and / or strategic global accounts
