EY People Advisory Services are seeking an experience Sector Lead in Change Experience with relevant expertise to support the growth of the team and successfully deliver client assignments, broadly covering the following areas : Change management, organisational design & talent planning, learning development, culture change and programme transformation.

As Sector lead, you will be expected to have existing deep sector knowledge and relationships to shape, manage and deliver transformation projects and programmes.

Your key responsibilities Business Development

  • Generating profitable revenue - selling major PAS programmes through developing lasting relationships with clients, through business development and account management leadership
  • Delivery - developing, shaping and delivering PAS programmes of work, with our industry account teams and other practice areas.
  • Assumes operational responsibility and accountability for assignments and delivery teams to drive the client’s agenda

  • Growing a business - actively contributing to the ongoing development of the PAS practice, supporting the rapid, profitable growth of the business as a member of the management team, bringing innovative ideas for development
  • Communications - responsible for representing the PAS practice in relevant management forums
  • Grow EY’s Change market profile by developing a differentiated offering built on thought leadership and best practice
  • Contribute to business development and client pursuit efforts by leading the preparing of proposals and delivering presentations to potential clients.
  • Lead the delivery of subsequently won work

  • Generate profitable revenue by developing lasting relationships with clients, through business development and account management leadership
  • Drive innovation to ensure provision of market leading, relevant and highly-targeted solutions and content-rich thought leadership to clients
  • Contribute to delivery of wider strategic objectives across PAS and the wider UK & Ireland business at EY, as well as supporting and participating in initiatives for growth of the firm as a whole

  • To build & lead teams, with accountability for establishing cohesive and committed ways for teams to work closely and effectively together, including coaching
  • Support the practice with operational recruitment to bring in high calibre individuals into the practice
  • Providing and facilitating development opportunities for individuals at all levels in the practice.
  • Supports change initiatives and embeds these them within the team
  • Encourages development of team members though formal and informal coaching
  • Gives authentic and constructive feedback
  • Seeks to give team members stretching opportunities while providing support and ensuring quality and operational excellence

  • Structure and manage projects or programmes of work which meet client expectations and mitigate any risks or issues
  • To qualify for the role you must have

  • Highly experienced management consultant / HR professional at Director level with relevant experience advising clients on a range of large scale transformation programmes and business change projects
  • Sector specific experience in Energy, CPLS and GPS working in the cybersecurity environment
  • Experience in working in a risk & compliance and / or regulatory environment
  • A proven track record of shaping, winning and managing complex, high profile, profitable Change engagements which create value for clients
  • Breadth of experience in PAS change capabilities and large-scale transformation programmes, with a focus on sustainability
  • Demonstrated track record of building client relationships
  • A proven track record of proactively managing client stakeholders, including providing constructive challenge, influencing decisions, providing robust advice, delivering difficult messages and managing performance issues, up to C suite-1 level
  • Relevant professional experience, working in Big 4, global management consultancy firm, Systems Integrator, niche consultancy or Blue Chip company / public sector
  • Strong insight and understanding into one or more of the following : Government & Public Sector, Energy & Assets, Consumer Products, Technology & Communications
  • Ideally, you’ll also have

  • A primary degree and any post graduate degrees and professional qualifications are desirable but not critical e.g. CIPD
  • Regulatory / Framework experience in NIS, IS 20071 NERC CIP etc.
