Job Description

The Designer’s role is to provide motion graphics and graphic design for creative work within our Northern European (UK and Nordic) team.

This crucial role requires high technical knowledge of a variety of graphics suites and styles. As a Designer, you will be working on linear and non-

linear services across both kids and general entertainment content.

What you’ll be doing :

  • Working alongside the Creative Producers to come up with engaging graphics and on-air branding. This will include block packaging, individual promo creative and seasons or stunts
  • Working with original and source material
  • You will be familiar with show and channel style guides across the full Kids and GE portfolio. You will review the relevant style guide when working on a specific project
  • Spending time sharing knowledge with the Junior Designer and Design Intern and will assist the Senior Designer in developing the juniors
  • The role will also require occasional work with our Sponsorship & Promotions creative team on graphics for on air sponsorships and / or digital when needed
  • What we’re looking for :

  • Exceptional skills in design, motion graphics and compositing
  • Good working knowledge of Cinema 4D
  • Passion and love of our Kids TV
  • Awareness of current trends in motion graphics and design
  • Excellent typographical and layout skills with an eye for composition, colour and fonts
  • Strong working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, especially After Effects and Cinema 4D
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Willingness to contribute and convey ideas
