What part will you play?
The Manager, Strategic Sourcing is responsible for leading key projects within Strategic Sourcing with a core focus on Leavesden Studio and a variety of indirect categories including but not limited to : Real Estate, IT, Marketing and Professional Services.
Working closely with Director and business unit management to develop and implement sourcing strategies and manage supplier relationships with emphasis on added value, collaboration and cost-savings.
Develop category strategy recommendations in a concise and persuasive fashion and lead implementation of supply chain strategy (optimization, process enhancements, sole source or short-
list negotiations, leverage added scope, competitive bidding, reverse auctions, etc.)
Compile and synthesise both business requirements and external market conditions to develop optimal category strategy with full understanding of potential shortfalls and risk mitigation plans
Conduct comprehensive supplier analysis (strategic direction, financial health / risk due diligence, market position, power within industry, capabilities & capacity, risk assessment)
Develop and implement supplier relationship programs that cut across multiple WB business divisions and coordinate shared KPIs
Identify and implement large scale, complex projects across divisions and territories. This may involve outsourcing analysis and total cost of ownership considerations.
Conceive and develop complex analytical & pricing models, including analysis of financial statements and industry cost drivers.
Can apply various types of financial analyses to address challenges.
Lead and develop negotiation strategies, contract analyses, and sourcing communications and meetings.
Collaborate with stakeholders and legal counsel to lead global negotiations and contract coordination to ensure all territory-
specific requirements are captured.
Provide internal consulting expertise to senior management in the practice of strategic sourcing, best practices, and external marketplace or innovative trends.
What do we require from you?
Must have proven project management experience, excellent communication skills, advanced computer literacy, ability to analyse and resolve complex issues, and a team building work style for a fast-paced environment
Previous experience in leading projects in international and multi-cultural environments
Proficiency in developing complex RFPs and conducting complex bid analysis
Strong supplier management / performance measurement monitoring experience
Must be knowledgeable of, and experienced in, application of Strategic Sourcing best practices
Advanced analytical skills
Must have strong leadership quality, be a visionary, and be customer service oriented
Must be a flexible, team player
Demonstrable ability to define, develop, and implement strategy and programs
Must have experience coaching and developing team members
