About therole

Risk ORC(Operational Risk & Controls) is an independent team supporting the Arvalbusiness and carries out its 2nd line of defence by providing the business witha risk policy, governance, framework, systems and training and then challengesthe application.

So in this role you will be responsible for the full control,design and implementation of the framework. This role is all about RISKmanagement so you will work with the business to support the monthly andquarterly reporting it carries out, reviewing and analysing patterns and thenmanaging incidents.

Inaddition you will provide independent assurance to the Arval UK MD, Chief RiskOfficer and the Corporate Risk ORC that the Arval UK operational risk frameworkis appropriate, sufficient and effective in managing the entity’s operationalrisk.

About you

To besuccessful in this role you will need to be able to evidence robust experiencein a similar 1st or 2nd line of defence role and haveextensive knowledge of the 3 lines of defence and enterprise risk &controls frameworks.

Additionally, you will need experience of not only doingthe work but then report writing for senior stakeholders. Ideally you will alsohave a detailed knowledge of operational leasing business processes.

Lastly,you will be a credible leader experienced in managing a function and setting avision, strategy and creating a deliverable plan.

This is in addition to havingthe excellent stakeholder management and resilience required whilst supportingbut also challenging the different business areas.

Naturally resilient, youwill also be highly organised and analytical with an undeterred focus to ensureall tasks are completed in a timely fashion.

You will be known for your abilityto make decisions and communication skills and so very capable to provideadvice and instruction to Director level.
