At the Projects, we provide high quality overnight short breaks for children with severe learning disabilities on behalf of Leicestershire County Council.
Our ethos is to ensure that all children accessing our services receive the best possible care and that their experience of the service is positive and one they look forward to.
We work hard to develop families’ and stakeholders’ confidence and trust in our care with a strong bent on safeguarding.
The Glenfield Project caters for children with profound and multiple learning disabilities. The Melton Project is next door supports children with learning disabilities and behaviours that can challenge.
Children are supported with all aspects of care and social skills in an inclusive environment where engagement and activities to stimulate learning and relaxation are encouraged.
Praxis Care wants to make a real difference in people’s lives by creating opportunities and collaborating with other agencies to promote the best possible outcomes for each young person.
We will ensure that staff have the necessary skills and knowledge to be able to deliver the specialist care and support required and encourage active learning opportunities and career progression.
Support Worker Days and Nights
Where the role requires sleep-ins, a minimum additional payment of £45.00 per night applies.
