Part-time 0.5fte University Instructor( and 0.5fte PhD)
School of Engineering, Technology and Design are seeking to appoint 3 University Instructors to simultaneously undertake instructional teaching support of engineering laboratories across Engineering section and also an interdisciplinary PhD in are of Engineering field.
The focus of the teaching element (50%) will depend upon experience in order to provide teaching support across the Engineering Section undergraduate and future postgraduate computing degree programmes.
The PhD study (50%) is a priority research area within the Engineering section, for which a tax-free bursary will be provided.
FEA, CFD, Advance Manufacturing, wastewater treatment, Laser Fabrication, Chemical Emulisions, Industry 4.0, Internet of Thngs, Excoskelton, Internet of Medical Things, Visual Anlaytics, Biomedical Engineering, and Product Design.

The successful candidates will also enrol on a module on the Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice (PGCAP), to support gaining Associate Fellow of the Advance HE.
This is an exciting opportunity to start to contribute to computing research in the UK and to support the teaching in the Engineering section of the School.
