In Summary : We are looking for an experienced account executive to build and manage the Indian relationship for one of Microsoft’s largest global customers.

The account executive will create and deliver Asia / Pac strategy as part of the Global Account team and on occasion will need to be prepared to travel to Asia e.

g. China, Singapore plus UK and US.The Global Account is run from the UK with a small technical team in Bangalore. This newly created role is to lead the commercial and business outcomes discussions with the Indian subsidiary and other locations as required whilst orchestrating a non-

local virtual team to deliver results to the customer in support of the Global strategy.The successful candidate will have experience of creating senior IT and business relationships, delivering business outcomes and owning the sales process from identification to negotiation and close.

  • The Team Led by Diana Parker (https : / / uk.linkedin.com / in / dianaparker06), the Retail Sector team sits within the Enterprise Commercial business in Microsoft UK and is responsible for the whole customer experience;
  • from software sales, through customer satisfaction and including deployment and consumption of cloud services for our retail, consumer goods, travel and transport clients.

    This team is at the leading edge of driving digital transformation both within Microsoft and, most importantly, with our customers, as we help them move their businesses to become truly digital.

    The Role This role is responsible for the India (and wider Asia where needed including China and Singapore) based element of the global relationship between Microsoft and one of the largest UK headquartered FMCG companies in the world.

    You will need to coordinate a virtual team to drive sales, customer satisfaction and consumption of services and be responsible for creating a local business plan and executing on strategic global priorities.

    You will need to define the local account strategy, communicate clearly and efficiently, and ensure that both you and your team execute effectively.

    It is critical to be able to pull together the different parts of Microsoft to present One Microsoft to our clients.What experience do I need to have for this role?

  • Proven account management experience with FMCG customers.
  • The ability to create trusted relationships that drive true business transformation.
  • Working with customers to understand, and successfully deliver, business outcomes.
  • Excellence in sales, customer satisfaction and driving outcomes based consumption.
  • Experience of driving new conversations with business decision makers, rather than IT buyers.
  • Strong record of selling both software and cloud services.What attributes do I need to be successful in this role?
