About the role
The Team Manager will be responsible for the leadership and performance of our Vocational Rehabilitation Consultants (VRCs) who provide advice and guidance to participants on our Able Futures contract, Access to Work Mental Health Support Service.
The role will be responsible for overseeing the performance and delivery of the VRC team, to motivate, support and develop all the staff to achieve our organisational targets and objectives, contractual requirements, and minimum service standards.
The Team Manager will provide clear, strong, and inspirational leadership that encompasses Ingeus values and leadership principles to promote a culture of high performance across the contract.
They will report into the OM and support with the achievement of long-term financial performance within agreed cost envelopes, ensuring an excellent level of quality and compliance and the delivery of an exceptional level of service to our participants and stakeholders.

This role is to work on the Access to Work Mental Health Support Service programme, delivered by Able Futures, a nationwide strategic partnership led by Ingeus.
This fantastic programme is delivered on behalf of the Department for Work and Pensions and focuses on supporting people who are experiencing mental health issues that are affecting their time at work.
We provide people with a flexible and personalised package of support which includes advice and guidance via face-to-face, telephone calls or online services to help them cope well with work while they manage a mental health condition.

What we need from you
The Team Manager role will support the Operations Manager to successfully deliver the Mental Health Support Service on behalf of DWP across the South of England.
You will be experienced in a People Services, Employability or Health industry role, with the ability to coach, mentor and lead staff to deliver excellent levels of performance and service quality.
You will monitor and manage the performance of individuals and respond quickly to address underperformance in line with the Ingeus Performance Management Framework and associated policies.
While managing the complexities of a remote team taking into consideration the local geographical areas and flexibility where travel is required.
