Teaching Personnel are looking for SEN Teaching Assistants to work closely with pupils with various learning difficulties.
SEN Teaching Assistants support students and allow them to achieve their full potential by working alongside key school staff.
Your role would involve undertaking structured, personalised learning programmes, both on a 1-1 basis and a small group basis, taking into consideration individual pastoral support to pupils.
This Rochdale based Secondary school caters for pupils aged 11-19 with various needs such as MLD, PMLD and Autism. They have a wide range of facilities such as hydrotherapy pool, music and art rooms, outside recreational area.
Within school, they also have Sensory Experiential Bases (SEBs) for pupils with sensory needs.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant you would be required to work with pupils with an EHCP with personalised targets to support their learning.
You would be required to support the pupils in the classroom that have various conditions that are secondary school age.
