Key Responsibilities :

  • Developing an effective territory sales strategy to drive growth.
  • Delivering annual sales targets as well as delivering on Stryker’s leadership expectations.
  • Building strong relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders in the NHS & private medical sector; these include, consultants, theatre managers, nursing staff as well as procurement and finance professionals.
  • Identify and create opportunities to grow the business in competitor accounts.
  • Take a creative and collaborative approach to new business development or to retain business for both current and future technologies.
  • Conducting trials and evaluations of product in theatre.
  • Providing in theatre product support.
  • Provide hands on product training and demonstrations for clinical staff.
  • Working effectively as a part of a team.
  • Attending, organising, and participating in key local events.
  • Maintaining and acquiring new product, technology, market knowledge and feed back to the team.
  • Supporting and collaborating with enabling function teams such as contracts & pricing, compliance, customer service, accounts.
  • Build clinical champions to support in driving forward both current and future technology platforms.

    Ideally, the Sales Representative will live in a location situated on or close to this territory. The area covered is South Manchester and Cheshire.

    What you need?

  • Training in a medical, scientific, technical career or degree in sciences / economics
  • Successful sales and / or marketing experience with minimum 2 years’ experience, preferably within medtech / pharma
  • A demonstrable and consistent track record of success in a sales role
  • Intrinsic motivation with a focus on delivering results
  • Confidence and a desire to win
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adept in building relationships
  • Commercial acumen, ideally with a working knowledge of the NHS and selling in a theatre environment

  • A full, valid UK drivers license
