Your ideal location : United Kingdom / Winnersh

As CAD Designer, you will be responsible for understanding, creating and editing designs with technical specifications for Pharmacy Automation for both Hospital and Retail Customers using CAD Software.

You will be responsible for Project designs with specifications and will focus on designs from Project Initiation through to Project Completion / Handover, whilst also assisting with designs in Pre-Sales phase.

Key Responsibilities :

Understand, create and edit, 2D and 3D drawing using AutoCAD

Process on-site surveys to CAD

Edit and manipulate floorplans to suit project / design needs

Create BD Robotics design specifications and requirements for both customer and engineers (including electrical specifications, weight drawings, pre-requisites, and other specific project needs)

Design and specification of the bespoke Robotics design Pharmacy Automation

Answering design related and technical queries, from internal teams, installation engineers, or customers when required

Creating Sales Offer Drawings, from pre-sales phase through to project phase

Assist with project documentation and communication

Assist with project administration (this can include CRM data, project packs in preparation for on-site work, and more)

Working with the Sales Team, Project Team and Service Team to bring projects to fruition, on time and as planned and agreed with the customer

About you

The successful candidate will have experience with CAD software, and ideally AutoCAD software. You will ideally have a background within mechanical or industrial engineering, civil engineering, automation industry or capital projects.

You will ideally have experience working within a project team environment and cross-functional team environments. You will ideally have experience working closely with Project Managers and Sales Teams to create designs and specifications to suit customer needs.

You will have a sound technical background within the mechanical or electrical engineering field, be IT literate and be able to pick up new systems quickly.

You will also have CAD experience and be familiar with CAD software.

You will be self-motivated with a clear focus and be able to work within a challenging and fast-paced environment. Experience with coordinating on-site teams and resolving on-site issues is highly beneficial.
