Are you looking to move up, mentor junior engineers, lead great people, and work with innovative suppliers? Do you have experience as a Web Application Developer with some leadership experience?

Hyster-Yale Group is looking for an energetic and innovative Web Application Developer within our Engineering Concept Centre in Frimley, Surrey.

Our number one project is forklift automation for example we’re working with advanced sensors on obstacle awareness, and with data and communication systems on job and task planning.

The right candidate will act as an interface between the business and our web development teams, to translate requirements, to define technical architecture, to communicate at a technical level and to assess the quality and performance of the finished products.

This role is integral to our continued success in the forklift industry.

We need your experience leading projects and a few other things :

1-4 years’ experience (3 preferred) in Frontend & Backend Web Application Development

Knowledge of JavaScript, Angular, React and node.js is required

Understand the architecture of web applications, their design, construction, and deployment

Broad knowledge and skill in high quality software engineering practices : e.g., code structuring, testing, analytical and problem solving

Know how to optimise web sites - knowledge of html and CSS, responsive design, and minimising loading times

Experience managing remote teams working with agile methodologies

Qualifications / Skills Required :

BSc Degree or equivalent in Computing / Software / Web Engineering

Cloud-based application development, JS, Node, MongoBD, git

Experience in Frontend & Backend Web Design

Web Responsiveness optimization

Good Communication and Coordination

Broad knowledge / skill in Software engineering practices : e.g., code structuring, testing, analytical and problem solving
