About The Role
We’re recruiting for a driven Head of Technology to lead one of our technology teams based at our Support Centre in Bradford, West Yorkshire.
We are looking for someone with the gravitas to be able to come in and really make a difference. Ideally you will have experience of working within a retail environment (although this isn’t essential).
You’ll be responsible for providing a business function with technology solutions to help drive their business success. Acting as the key point of contact with the business area, you will own the overall Technology business area relationship.
Keeping everything running smoothly, our technology team makes sure our tech gives us the edge. At the forefront of innovation and the latest developments, our ideas and systems set the pace in the fast moving world of retail.
We help all of our teams to work faster, be more agile and meet the needs of millions of customers like nobody else.
Some of the key things you'll do as a Head of Technology are :
Participate in Technology strategy development and be part of the development of strategic plan for business units
Be responsible for quality of relationship management between business and Technology as determined by CTO.
Input into improved ways of working between functions and within Technology
You'll need skills and experience like this to be a success :
A record of coaching teams and individuals to realise their potential
Experience of working in a similar role within retail will be highly advantageous
Strong Technology understanding and the inputs required to shape an associated activity from a Technology perspective
Business awareness and strong cross-functional knowledge
Significant senior management experience in Technology functions
Strong programme / change management background
