    We are looking for an EU Hiring Transformation Senior Manager who is excited to join us as we work to transform our hiring processes to deliver a bar raising candidate experience.

    In this role you will be responsible for partnering across functions and countries to evaluate the EU Ops hiring landscape, develop a portfolio of transformation initiatives and drive them to completion.

    This role requires complex financial analyses and partnership with Legal and Public Policy. It also has a high degree of stakeholder partnership and visibility, you could be comfortable with influencing to drive outcomes.

    You should be passionate about solving big and complex problems using data, even when the answer or the problem is ambiguous.

    You should be eager to continuously learn and improve your skills.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Owning EU Hiring Transformation Project. Developing business cases per country / region, continuous improvement and standardization of processes.
  • Researching into labor and contract requirements across specific country / region. Working with Operations / HR / S&OP / Production Planning / Legal / Finance departments to define project framework conditions.
  • Preparing country / region specific proposal on solutions to optimize Amazon hiring approach in Europe.
  • Creating cross-department sequence map (repository of who is doing what) that would ensure legal compliance and maximize candidate / associate experience.
  • Exhibiting exceptional communication skills and instincts with stakeholders at all levels. Delivering concise and effective messages to a variety of audiences with the right detail and timing.
  • Utilizing a wide-ranging toolbox of strategies and tactics to navigate complex situations, challenging interactions, and conflicting priorities to maintain alignment and progress.
  • Hiring and managing high performing teams. Motivating and developing a team to nurture talent and grow internal progression
  • Building and owning relationships with wider Amazon group companies and departments. Working effectively with European and Worldwide colleagues.
  • Pushing back against external and internal pressures to ensure that decisions are made that balance the best interests of employees and the best interests of the company, ensuring that commitments are maintained.
  • Examining costs, benefits, and tradeoffs across multiple customer groups to assess impacts and benefits of proposed projects.
  • Analyzing and weighing both quantitative data and qualitative feedback to identify gaps, generate insights, and develop strategies to increase service awareness and usage.
  • This role will require travel up to 20% (within Europe).

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in owning complex, multi-country projects with multiple senior stakeholders.
  • Proven to develop cohesive and positive strategic relationships with business partners and peers across all levels of seniority including top management.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills. Ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.
  • Team management and leadership experience.
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ownership of metrics and data to inform and influence short and long-term business change.
