Main responsibility for this position is to developembedded software for industrial fire detection systems comprised of controlpanels, loop cards and field devices (transponder, smoke detectors) requiringexpertise in various technologies like Micro controllers;
FPGA and analoguecircuit design targeted for SIL3 certification.
SPECIFIC TASKS INCLUDE :
Develop embedded firmware design for panels, loop cards, etc with adherence to cybersecurity
Effort estimation and planning, technically manage external consultants and suppliers for software deliverables
Maintain know how on applicable industrial FIRE standards
Interact with marketing to define and clarify System requirements
Generate innovative Ideas, Visit customers as part of OVOC (observational Voice of Customer) activities
Investigate complex customer issues as required
Bachelor or Master degree in engineering with specialization in electronics or computer science.
Scaled Agile based product development with globally distributed teams
Extensive experience in embedded software design & Development with IEC 61508 certification (preferable)
Good communication, presentation, and leadership skills
Fluent in spoken and written English
Ability to travel worldwide ca. 20%
Expertise designing Safety Integrity Level (SIL 3) based FIRE panel & peripheral development
Scaled Agile SAFE Certification
Knowledge of product-specific Standard (u.A. IEC 61508, EN54, FM, UL684,VDE 0833, VDE 0834)
Experience on requirement-management, Experience on cross site development
Experience on writing firmware for EMV-compliant design
Firmware development for FPGA based product design focusing on SIL 3 certification (TUV Rhineland)
