An exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, fully qualified and registered Optometrist to join our Chatham Practice in Kent at Boots Opticians on a full time or part time basis.

The PracticeOur practice in Chatham is based within our Boots UK store. The practice has three testing rooms as well as an Audiology room.

We have three part-time permanent Optometrists in Chatham, as well as a Contact Lens Optician, Dispensing Opticians and around 11 Optical Consultants.

You would be joining a very friendly, well supported and established team where there is real potential for greatness.Chatham like many places within Kent is undergoing a regeneration project, paving the way for new innovations and opportunities for business growth, it is an exciting time to work in the Medway Towns.

Boating a commercial port, established businesses and residential areas, Chatham has easy links to all major motorways in the South East.

The train station has direct links to London and the coast and is within a 5 minute walk of the town centre. There is also a new Chatham Waterfront Bus Station where you can pick up a link to any of the neighbouring towns or the major shopping centre Bluewater.

What you’ll be doing day to day.

  • Using your leadership skills and passion for your patients to inspire your colleagues to deliver a really memorable customer journey.
  • Bringing your vibrant personality into the day to day running of the practice setting high standards to ensure everything runs professionally
  • Building firm and longstanding relationships not only with colleagues and customers but with healthcare professionals in the local community
  • Listening to our customers and provide the right, up to date information at all times
  • Selecting the best products for each customer
  • Ensuring that you effectively lead your team so that our customers receive an excellent service in a great environment
  • Ensuring that we uphold the highest possible standard of clinical care
