Job Advert Role Description
The catering service delivers food and beverages to the entire population of the hospital including patents and colleagues.
This is done by prep cooking in the main kitchen and then serving in the satelleit kitchens, along with the staff room. The shifts are over 5 out of 7 days.
The role includes food preparation and serving, cleaning ward kitchens and transporting food between the main kitchen and wards, along with any other reasonable request by the management.
Line management will be in the form of the Head Chef who is responsible to the Support Services Manager. The role entails manual handling & pushing / pulling loads so a hands on approach is mandatory.
