From specialist consultancy in Oracle & Microsoft to full SAM managed services and embracing the emerging discipline of Cloud Economics, Version 1 have a unique position in the market to engage with customers of all sizes and levels of complexity.
The success of this practice has created the need for a dedicated inside-sales function to ensure continued growth. The inside-
sales function will comprise of a small team working on both traditional telesales activities but also taking control of specific marketing activities to promote the practice across social media.
The successful candidate will be working closely with the SAM Business Development & Fulfilment (BDF) lead to understand the key messages and key differentiators that Version 1 bring to market.
They will develop their own engagement methods to reflect their own personality and approach. All prospective customers that are converted to opportunities will be pooled within the BDF team to ensure a customer first engagement experience.
Lead generation through warm sources
B2B sales and marketing activities
Generate meetings & appointments for BDF team resources to engage with prospective customers
Nurture prospective customers from initial contact through to opportunity stage
Act as the initial point of contact for incoming calls from prospective SAM customers
Work closely with BDF colleagues to develop and fine-tune your own engagement approach
Maintain detailed call records in the company CRM system
Work with BDF colleagues and SAM delivery teams to promote the SAM brand across a number of platforms LinkedIn, Twitter, Google Search etc.
Follow up with attendees of SAM events
Work as part of the wider SAM team to develop marketing plan for each quarter and support plans through telesales and social media activities
Previous experience in a telesales role
Sales experience over the phone
Experience of building relationships over the phone
Proven track record of successfully meeting sales / meeting quotas
