    As the Performance Analyst you will provide daily, weekly and periodic reports of train performance for London Overground as required.

    You will also report on the performance against targets set for the routes and provide analysis of key incidents which affect train performance.

    Your key accountabilities will include :

    Operating and maintaining processes to record and analyse London Overground operational performance.

    Identifying trends and areas of potential performance improvement through analysing actual delivery performance.

    Downloading, formatting and distributing signalling files for use by the East London Line signallers.

    Producing and issuing daily, weekly and periodic train performance reports in a timely manner.

    Liaising with TfL stakeholders and provide supporting data and analysis when requested, including Freedom of Information requests.


    Good knowledge of train performance management processes.

    A working knowledge of train operations on the National Rail Network (desirable)

    Knowledge of statistical methods of performance measurement.

    Knowledge of rail industry organisation.


  • Well developed interpersonal skills.
  • Expert user of Excel.

    Ability to learn complex software and use it to identify trends and provide forecasts.

    Good presentation skills with ability to produce reports that translate analysis and findings into meaningful information for a wide range of internal and external audiences.

    Effective communicator, written and verbal.Analytical capabilities.

    Ability to work under pressure and achieve demanding deadlines.

    Well organised and logical, able to juggle multiple demands and competing deadlines to deliver inputs to projects in a timely manner.


    Experience in the analysis and manipulation of large data sets.

    Experience in the production of detailed numerical and statistical reports

    Experience in train performance analysis
