Here at Serco, we are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Administrator to join the Governance & Performance Team within HMP Thameside.
Reporting into the Governance & Performance Manager, you will ensure the effective administration of the Governance department, and ensure compliance against all contractual, regulatory and performance requirements & targets.
As the new Administrator, you will be expected to maintain all administrative systems within specified timescales for HMP Thameside and support the Governance & Performance team in the delivery of high performance and satisfaction levels, from all internal and external stakeholders.
Your role will include providing support for the unit and ensuring compliance against all the relevant procedures, both locally and nationally, covering the Ministry of Justice and Serco requirements for these deliverables.

This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who demonstrates an understanding of business and customer focused requirements, as well as strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritise work to meet operational requirements.
Excellent communication and organisations skills are key, whilst also remaining an approachable, positive and a solutions-led attitude, demonstrating a strong ability to develop and maintain excellent professional relationships.
As you will be working in a people-centred environment, you will be committed to working effectively, in a socially diverse environment and a strong team ethic.
IT literacy is one of the most important aspects of this role so advanced levels in Outlook, Word & Excel will be required to enable you to complete your role competently.
GCSE standard education is desirable in Maths & English.
